Celtic Knot is an Irish based wedding and event planning company. We are very passionate about creating the perfect event, each event is bespoke and unique tailored to our client’s specifications. We elevate the stresses that come with planning an event and we give our clients the reassurance they need that everything is under control as we work with the best suppliers in the industry. We can be involved as little or as much as you need us.
The name Celtic knot represents Irish heritage and the logo which is the Celtic Knot Heart represents loyalty, faith, friendship and love. Only one thread is used in each design which symbolizes how life and eternity are interconnected, the knots are complete loops so they have no start or finish and are said to represent eternal love. The colour purple on the logo represents royalty, creativity, wisdom, dignity, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic, all of which represent the style of our events.
Our Team
Meet Sharon Thomas CEO and Founder of Celtic Knot Weddings & Events. Her background is in Hospitality, Events, Planning, PR, Marketing, and Management. After working in the Events industry for a number of years, Sharon knew she a had a true passion for creating and organising events. In 2017 her boss at the time Breeda Clancy from The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland planted the initial seed in her mind telling her that she had a real creative flare with savvy organisational skills for planning events and should take a leap into the wedding industry, where she felt she would flourish. Sharon had shelved the idea of launching the business in 2018 after taking over a year out to take on the role of a lifetime becoming a mother to her beautiful son Conor, but later that year she suffered a heartbreaking loss when her uncle and aunt both passed unexpectedly. This finally gave her the drive she needed realising that life was too short so go for your dreams now not tomorrow and in late 2018 Celtic Knot Weddings and Events was born. Her Uncle and Aunt were her biggest fans and loved a good shindig (Irish party). She loved them dearly and has dedicated Celtic Knot Weddings and Events in their memory.
